Where to ride from town
- Around town: the streets of old Karakol
- Karakol Gorge: spruce forest and the river, right outside town
- The Ak-Suu hot springs, about 12 km from Karakol
- Altyn-Arashan: about 15 km more up a rough mountain road to the hot springs, for strong riders
- Among the famous red rocks
- Steep tracks for experienced riders
